Door Handles?

Hi Guys

I'm sure someone answered this question a while back but I can't find the thread. My door handles have suffered during the recent cold spell, and seem to have split in certain areas. This looks pretty shite and I have people coming round to look at the motor tomorrow as it is for sale. I would like to give them an idea of how much they would cost to replace, rather than try and ignore it. Any ideas?

Additionally I have just found out that on occasion when I unlock the driver side door, nothing happens on the passenger side. This is an intermittent prob - any ideas?

IIRC handles are about £25/30 each and probably 1hrs garage time to replace.

Sounds like the switch on the psaaenger side central locking is a bot dodgey, maybe its damp. If the handles are replaced they could do the switch at the same time as its just behind the handle.

Or just lock and unlock the door lots of times and see if it gets better.
