Hi

I am planning on donating to FIATforum and I would like to know whatthe money does and has gone toward? Rather than asking a mod this, I have made it public as i'm sure it probably crosses other peoples minds on here too?

If all active members did so, it would easily cover the costs thanks.

I am currently paid 5.15 an hour, I have rent and bills to pay, plus car finance and I have debts summing arounf £11k. I think £10 is fine.

I know you put jk at the end but you would'nt say that to someone making out a standing order to a charity would you? It's the same thing.

the thing that summed it up for me was when ben said(on the old forum)that even if he got no donations the forum would still be here.
the fact that the donations were treated as totally optional with no pressure as to facilities etc being removed from the forum etc makes me happy to make donations.
plenty of forum etc(some torrent sites ive been on push for payment for better services for example) push for donations to keep the site going.

But yes, please don't feel pressured into donating, it's more just to say you think it's doing a good job

Last donation fund spent was £94 on the banner for Stanford Hall.

Also, donated people get more space for things such as photos and pms, which really i couldn't offer to everyone otherwise the server would just fill up. At the moment, if it does, I can use the fund to buy a new hard drive
