Hi Everyone,

I want to replace the OEM bulbs that are in the dome light housing of my 2012 Fiat 500 Sport with some LED bulbs as the stock ones are very dim. I can't seem to get the housing to come off though. Does anyone have any tricks or videos/pics to share? I found a post that said how to do it, but I have tried and am a little nervous I'm going to break it if I keep at it.

Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated!

In the USA 'dome' light is what they call the interior light or cabin light, other than translation I can't really offer any more help as I've never been involved with the 500

Hi PMW123,

I love the lights you have in your foot-wells (near the pedals). I want to add some ambient lights in 500 that are dim while driving but get brighter when the doors open like my Lexus GS350. All of the systems I am finding online seem like they are either on or off. Can't find one's that dim upon opening/closing the door and also that only come on when my headlights are on. Any suggestions?

OK. Thanks! My 500 doesn't have any lights in the back (except the one in the "trunk"). Not sure if that's due to the sunroof or if the US version is slightly different than the one in Europe. Looking forward to seeing the pictures when you post them.

Dredging up a bit of an old thread, but this is where duckduckgo sent me when I was looking for how to do it.

There are two clips facing the rear of the car on the overhead lighting module that you can use to get access to it. Once you've got that off, it should be pretty easy to replace the bulbs.
