General Does unconnected tan iPhone battery

Only had my 500x a couple of days and certainly having difficulty with uconnect but noticed my battery on the iPhone literally is draining whilst in the car connected by Bluetooth not cable. My phone can be 60% charged drove 20 mins and it’d dramatically to 16%. I’ve noticed that every time it’s been connected it drains really quickly. Uconnect is 5”

Bluetooth streaming is quite battery intensive allthrough not normally as bad as that

I'm streaming via Bluetooth all the time, never noticed any abnormal battery drainage. I have an Android, but it shouldn't matter, 40% gone in 20 minutes is not normal in any case.

Could be a one off. Do a soft reset on the phone, give it a full charge and try again. I’ve done 3 hour journeys before streaming on BT and never lost that much juice.

Do you have the uconnect app installed? This drains my battery faster than I'd like, albeit not quite that fast. It's Android admittedly but sometimes these weaknesses are carried across.

Hi yes I did have the app installed and since removing it the battery is back to normal. Thanks
