Technical Does the Truma van heater recirculate the heated air

If not how is the warm air vented outside?
Thanks as always
On a Truma Combi 4 & 6 and other earlier models the flue is balanced i.e. it take in fresh air and expels exhaust fumes. The flue duct is is double tube with inner [exhaust] and external [air in] construction. As far as the hot air that is heating the room that is displaced by the various drop holes etc in the MH e.g. through the roof light vents, floor vents etc.

Thanks, was the heating warm air that I was interested in, so a plug in elec heater when using ext power would be more efficient

Yes, on the Truma's I have seen the heating air is recirculated. (As opposed to the combustion air and exhaust gases as stated previously)
It is usually clearly shown in the manual...
Somtimes the vehicle convertor does not provide the necessary air flow path to enable the recirculation. The heater is effectively throttled. When this was drawn to my attention by the owner of a similar vehicle, I fitted a ventillation grille at a suitable point.
