Technical does the stilo have a code box?

Hi, i'm not sure of the right name for it but i'm talking about the ring that goes round the key barrel that then leads to a small black box. i know on the punto there's one and its just above the fusebox but i can't seem to find one on the stilo.
the reason for asking is that i have just bought a ecu, key, ring and body computer off ebay, i also asked for the code box but didn't receive it, and as i can't find it on mind, i'm wondering if it's part of the body computer.
If it is then any ideas why when ive fitted everything why the dash say immobiliser code fault?

update: it actually fires and runs despite the immobiliser fault warning but it sounds rough and doesn't respond properly to the throttle. there has been a lot of wiring going on, which could be the reason, but anyone else have a suggestion?

There's no separate code box, it's built into the body computer.

As the engine starts and runs, the key must already be paired with the BC.

I found out why it ran really rough, the servo pipe wasn't connected so the fuel/air was all messed up.
The immobiliser is still playing up though, some times it works sometimes it doesn't, the ref counter bounces all over the place too, i'm thinking wiring issues, especially has ive done alot of that in the last few weeks.
