Hi guys just wandering if the mk 1 has a camber adjuster on the front as my wheels are wearing badly within a few months of being replaced on the outside or do I have to buy a camber kit any pics please

Chances are that it won't be the camber that's the issue, but the tracking. Get that checked first.

The only way you can change camber on Mk1s is a pair of so called "magic camber bolts". But it's unlikely to be camber unless you've driven the car straight over a roundabout, etc.

I had tracking done by laser and came back all clear but wearing tyres down within a couple if months

Would it be the offset of my alloys I've got 15" on car and when I turn steering to either side to the limit and move car forward you can feel the tyres feeling rough on ground

It's on the front both sides one of the back ones are wearing on the inside but I don't know if that was because the rubber bed on bottom of rear springs was badly falling apart an have no replaced it

But for the fronts I have replaced gearbox mounts all 3 of them recently

If is not tracking issue, it may be just that the suspension is too soft, and you driving it hard in the corners. The car rolls heavily and causes high wear of the tires on the outside. Camber wear is normally caused on the inside of the tire when you lower the car and you get too much negative camber. To get wear on the outside you will need positive camber which is not possible on the punto unless you raised the car by 1 inch or more.

I have an punto elx 90 8 v suspension is really hard I haven't changed it at all

Had tracking done it was only + 5 out new wheels put on lots of tread is it normal when going over drain covers car pulls to one side when accelerating also I have put original Punto alloys on it with 185/55/15 tyres are they ok

Had tracking done it was only + 5 out/QUOTE]

Cabriolet was over +20 out on both sides!!! +5 Will have caused premature wear. But was it +5 on one or both? If only one side then I would have expected one to wear on inside and the other on the outside with you correcting on steering (please correct me if im wrong on this).
Also did they check the rear? They should check the rear as although there is no adjustment they set the front up from the rear and if the rear is out then the front will be as well even though they say it is right.

Passenger side front wearing on the outside badly tyre worn out within 2 months driver side front was perfect and the rears were perfect too
