Does P reg Punto Have power steering ?

Im just about to buy a P reg Punto sx75 ( in about 3 hours) Ive taken it for a drive and it does not appear to have power steering is this normal ? or did they all have power steering ?

power steering was an option on all but the latest mk1's, when it became standard, its standard on all diesels though

so yours wont have, unless it was

a)specced as an option or
b) dead

duno casue mine has power steering

though my girlfriends mum had a p reg 55sx and that didnt have power steering, and i test drove a s reg 75sx and that didnt have power steering either, so your shouldnt either, think it was only the sporting, gt and the diesels that had it as standard

mk1 dont have steering light cause its not electric.

Just check to see if there is a steering fluid resevoir bottle under bonnet if it has it.

no bigge if not, mk1 dont really need power steering there light enough...

fiar enough, said i wouldnt know as all mine have had power steering
