Does my car look silly?

I painted the wing mirrors but to be different I painted over the plastic bit on the door too! As my car is filty the mirrors look brighter....

Anyways it does look different from other Bravo's.....my 1.4Sx came with those horrible side mirrors and were non colour coded!!

The paint only cost £15 from Halfords.....before you slag it off....I am happy all the same but I just wanted to know whether it looks weird?

Looks fine there. Got any plans to do the black around the door aswell? Don't know if that would look any good.

Yours being a red Bravo - how has it stood up to fading? Has any of it gone salmon pink yet?

well my car has actually stood up to fading quite well

problem is it gets very and I mean VERY dull when not washed....ideally it needs to be washed every week but that never happens!

Doing the black would be pretty good....but its more fumes! I think I have a headache now because of them.....

may just use a revitilising product instead

I just want my car to look like this one but in red!

I think his car looks nice and smart

hopefully I can achieve look with £500 budget

Re: fading

In other words you want your own personal 1.4 HLX It'll look good.

They are one of the few Fiat design alloys I like. Someone on here had the wheels from an HLX Bravo for sale.

Yeah a few people were selling HLX alloys but i think those in the picture are Mk2 versions which i wheely want

Anyways Amits alloys are long time gone..
and as for the others ones i am not 100% sure if there of a Mk II bravo or not but I am in touch with the seller....he is actually on holiday in Tenerife now...

Those mirrors look fantastic! What a difference from the standard black ones!

I also have a 1.4SX, but mines in green. You said you got the paint from halfords, were you confident it would match?

That yellow bravo is identical to mine apart from mine is finished in black. I have also got red abarth center caps. Also I think those wheels are the muts nuts and when specing up the car I saw those and thought they looked perfect. The boot spoiler is the abarth jobbie.

You have a very nice car then Andys....those alloys are a sure fit....I must say fiats alloys are quite good.....when I went into the dealer they had some really swish alloys for the Stilo...

Anyways;

Tim: Cheers for the compliment.....I was slightly unsure of halfords at first but I just went for it and the staff were really nice...I just told them my colour code from the boot (169/A) and they mixed it up for me and put it into a can.....took them 10mins.

Just bought a primer and i was laughing.....I didnt believe how good the match was....they reckon they can make 28000 colours

My advice is to go for it Tim...all in all cost me £15 incl saturday paper i used to cover my car!
