If the bravo front shocks are the same as the front shocks on my marea weekend my 2.0 20v is it the same has the bravo HGT?

I want some uprated shocks for my car as it is going to be lowered v.soon.

Thanks in advance any advice will be much appreciated.

My guess would be HGT.

And it depends how you want them uprated. Uprated price is the usual way ;)

If your shocks are worn (and after 2-3 years they will be even if they pass MOT and are not leaking) then replacing them with new ones will help hugely. You do not need special shocks unless you plan to lower the car by a large amount.

Thanks Tom, its going Down 40mm on 17" wheels, but the car has covered 96000 miles, the shocks feel very good at the moment, but i dont want to change the springs and then in a months time the shocks need replacing. or i could just do it and then sort it out when the shocks give up the ghost i suppose.
