Technical Does anyone have pictures of a JTD sump?

I have the possibility of buying an aluminium sump for my 105 JTD and I am trying to see if it is the real deal.
Does anyone have pix of the JTD sump so I can check profiles before shelling out?

Maybe your aware but there are different sumps out there... the 115 has a different sump to accommodate a bracket for the cat if memory serves me correctly. What in saying is make sure you get the right one!!... they are a bit tricky to get off too you need long ribe keys.

I've learnt somefin noo today, coz I didn't know the sumps were different, I thought all the JTD's were the same. Mind you finkin 'bout it, it wouldn't be french it was the same would it

Well I can confirm that there are different sumps at least for the JTD models, there is one for vehicles with aircon and one for vehicles without. You could probably fit the aircon one to a JTD without aircon, but you definately can't fit a non aircon version to a jtd with aircon as it lacks the cast-in mounting brackets!

How do I know? I was told by an ebay supplier that they were all the same and shelled out 85 euros to find out he was wrong (grrrrr!).
However, I used the non-aircon version to protect the bottom of the engine while the old one was being alloy welded (50€ - a snip)
