i tend not to use mine incase i try that one again lol

Replaced my Punto with a semi-auto Corsa for my wife (Punto CVT based job not up to it compared to Vauxhall's easytronic mastery - which is the best thing about the car), so I get her 307. That has stereo controls on an extra stalk behind the wheel. The Corsa has them on the wheel, and I know which I prefer. Turn the wheel and one is impossible to locate without taking your eyes off the road...

The fact that Selespeed is only on the Abarth 2.4 put me off. Had it been an option on the Dynamic JTD I might have suggested that for my wife last year...

Could it be a factory mis-build? Is it possible that on a shift change they got the wrong gearbox on an engine? Or a very nice dealer having made a custom order to satisfy a single customer? Or a bodge job having been fiddled with post factory. Might be worth looking for signs of accident damage - shut lines, straight along side of car, overspray etc...

Shouldn't you be concentrating on driving the car while turning rather than playing with the audio controls?

Think I'd agree sounds like a hashed together car, maybe the engine has been replaced at some point.

They can't even make the electronics on 'proper' factory build models talk to eachother, so christ knows how they would cope with an engine mis-match :D

The paddles are there, it's not the radio control...thank ya, I have glasses on my nose...

Precisely, they're there so the driver doesn't need to look down, but you need to look to see where they are!

Why not call the car Frank. with a surname of Enstein
