Styling Doblo Roof Rails

Anyone know if you can get roof rails that run from the front to the back of a Doblo? Don't want the roof rack bars that go sideways across the car, just the lengthways rails. It lists 'longitudinal roof bars' in the catalogue, as well as roof bars but the local dealer couldn't find anything in the parts catalogue.

Just ordered a brand-spanking new Doblo - can't wait for it to arrive. Took one out for a test drive and it was not unlike driving my old Mini 1000. Driving position very similar - you need long arms and short legs!! Although with a higher seating position, you at least don't feel like your backside is scraping along the tarmac!

I had the same trouble :-( I did get a dealer to find a price in the end but I didn't like it... £350!

I didn't want to haul a rack or cross bars around all the time but that price is just stupid. One of the online chav shops does stainless rails but they are about the same price. I might have to compromise and buy the round section FIAT Alu cross bars which look OK and cost much less.

Hello Mackers and welcome to the forum

There are very few of these 'longitudinal roof bars' around, yet I've seen a few nice ones on foreign Doblo's but not been able to find them on the internet.

£350 is a lot for two bars, and then of course around £40-£70 on top of that for the cross-bars to clip onto these to carry loads. They do look good though, and practical as when you do want to carry anything up there you just clip the cross bars on

Wow! That's a lot of money. Suppose I should have guessed at the price really when I found out it would be £191 for a leather steering wheel. I'll stick with the manky plastic one! Thanks for your answers on this one folks.

Try using a steering wheel cover, it makes the steering feally really light too, when I took it off for the Welsh Show I had trouble driving it again as the steering felt really funny

Why did you remove it? There's nothing to be ashamed of, using a steering wheel cover. I understand its quite popular with slow old codgers.

I do question your chioce of colour though.

Luminous yellow with red love hearts each with 'Chase me big boy!' printed on it does make me think you are a bit too much in touch with your feminine side

But then it does match your jimjams so who am I to judge.......
