Do I have to remove clutch oil line?

Hi everyone, I want to lubricate clutch pedal on my GP 16v.

I'm reading elearn about how to remove the pedal and the first step is to disconnect clutch oil line from main cylinder.

Is this a necessary step? Why I have to remove oil? Can't I just remove main cylinders' pin from pedal and lubricate it?

Ok to answer myself...lol
You can remove just the pedal. There are two plastic PINS holding it on an other ''pedal'' that master cylinder is clipped on
