Depends what you want to do in your career path if it will help you? I work in the media and luv it, jus depends what you want! And WTF hav you been doin for the past 22weeks???? i voted carry on with it as it's what i wud do? But if you dont want to do anything orientated with this in your future id say its more important to focus on relevant subject and drop it in this case!

Perhaps this is the rude awakening, that you actually have to work to get any form of decent grades... If you bum about, what do you expect!

I say carry on and get to know what hard work feels like. You aint gonna make a career out of selling crap on ebay, and although you may not need media for your career, its the principle of leaving things to the last minute and suffering the consequences. In industry you're going to be given deadlines, and dropping it at the last minute as you couldnt be arsed to do anything when you had the time just isnt gonna happen.

Finger out...

give up
drop out
sit around all day.... leads to

...sponging off goverment
having 15 kids
getting a couple of asbo's...then we have a reason to call you a chav :p

doing your work leads to...

......a decent edcuation, job,a levels, uni, apprenticeship. alot more than if you drop out!

then we have a reason to call you a chav :p

you should get your coursework done!! people like me wish they had coursework to do!! (only gotta wait till spetember :))

so your lucky to have all that work to do!

SO DO IT!

carry on with it bud.Im doing Alevel media, and i was going to drop it after the first three weeks becus it was just going over my head, but i kept on and im doing great in it now, got an A on my yr12 coursework.if you want any advice or owt just drop me a pm

many years ago (in a different millenium) i was trying to decide if i should drop A-level maths. people said it was an important subject and i'd regret it later. well i dropped it and had more time to get pissed and have fun at sixth form.

i still went to uni, got a good degree, and haven't regretted it at all. hell i even dropped out of uni twice before i got my degree. i dont even have my gcse certificates anymore, or my a levels, i did well in all of them but no one has asked how i did or to see my certificates apart from applying to uni.

"new" uni's will let you in with 5 gcse's and 1 a-level these days so why worry. have fun and enjoy been young, there's plenty of time to pull your socks up in the second and third years of uni. as long as you get a 2:1 degree anything that happened before it is pretty worthless. employers wont care what you did at school or college, they wont even ask once you have a degree. if only i knew then what i know now...

And most employers I know take the current degrees with a pinch of salt - any job you may get is down to character and references; unless of course you are doing a speciality/professional degree.

m8 stay at it i am doing media in cols and it is great i am making a film that is going in the odeon for the young film makers festival
