DIY front wheel alignment?

Hi - is it easy to check and adjust front toe-in yourself, e.g with an adjustable length of pole or something to do measurements, or is it likely to be too inaccurate?

For start it can be done, but you risk your tires due to wear, so it would be better to get it don right.

Same as Sven says, It is possible but far easier and more accurate using the equipment at the tyre shop. Most places don't charge if no adjustment is needed. About £12 to adjust unless a specialised 4 wheel alignment
