General disconnect batt

How do you disconnect the battery, does anyone have a photo

I need to disconnect the negative terminal to install my meta remote central locking kit.

Check the battery, it should have clear + and - signs on it. Just loosen the nut and with circular left-right movements pull it off.

usually the black cable going to the battery is the negative (but check with the + and - signs on the batter first as said above)

got it disconnected no probs cheers lads. Just wanted to double check, but still managed to cause a problem lol
