ive seen them in aldi, not used one. the Tap-down tool may be handy the dent man uses one of them

Within minutes, this gadget partially popped out most of our smaller impressions without harming the finish.

If anyone does try it and can say it works then I will certainly buy one as I have a small dent right in the middle of the driver's door. It's the "partially" bit in the quote from the advert that leaves me slightly bemused.

Well they'll be covering themselves there wont they to avoid law suits etc!

I guess there are too many variables on something like this, if the metal is simpy pushed in it may pop back perfectly, but if the ding was more severe and the metal has been distorted or stretched or something, pulling it out isnt going to restore it to its original shape. Speaking as a material scientist of course (rather than a material girl)
