I think my drive shafts/axels are about worn out.
BUT I have heard some people with aut. Have hd problem with getting the right parts.
Can anyone shed a light on that please.

Interesting you ask that question as I have just had a 2006 x244 2.8 Auto Transmission dropped off to me for repairs.
The information I got was the RH driveshaft needs replacing & the part is unavailable.
I am in Australia.
I haven't had a look at it yet but maybe Auto & Manual have different spline to the Transmission.

I have a friend with same setup. He told me the end is too short for aut, thereby thrashing the end of the shaft with regular intervals.
I have no idea how many km mine have done.
I will contact my supplier Aubiri.eu, who have helped me a lot.
