found a few differences on the block....

the pistons are slightly different they have like circle paterns on the punto engine.

the crank shaft end where it bolts to the flywheel the holes are more closer into the centre of the crank meaing the flywheel had to be drilled to fit this.

also the water pump pipe that comes out the punto one sits nearer the water pump side where it bolts up on the seicento its nearer the flywheel side and on the punto lump theres no hole tapped for it to be able to bolt it up.

thats the only differences ive found so far.

circle patterns, on the cylinders? immaterial difference it sounds, no dimension differences.

flywheel differences is random, fiat used different PCDs whenever it took their fancy!!

same size pistons just it looks like its got valve sized grooves ontop to clear valves if tiing ever snaps?:confused:

this is on a SPI punto 55 engine R reg still should work the same though :D well i hope so(y)
