whats a replacement filter do, and what does an induction kit do? AND will an exhaust function properly without a filter/induction kit?

thanx in advance.

A replacement filter is just as it says, it is the same size as the OEM filter, but is washable...

This is an induction kit...

Much nicer noise, but next to no extra power...

Note: You don't get the Stainless pipe with it, you get a silicone one...

Don't run your car without an air filter, just think of all the crap that will get into your engine (Not nice, think of it as riding a pushbike with your mouth open ;))

Induction Kit

What Induction Kit is best?? I have K&N but have heard Green & pipercross are better sounding??

Any views on this??

Re: Induction Kit

Green and k&n are identical nearly, just different colours :)

Piperx does not quite give the same noise but on my car thats a good thing.

Re: Induction Kit

Which is the quietest induction kit?

Re: Induction Kit

Probably a fully closed system one. Like my BMC carbon box filter on my hgt.
In comparison with the sponge pipercross one, it's really dosile!

Re: Induction Kit

Yup, you'd want an enclosed one. Either the piperx viper or the BMC. Personally I'd go for the viper as I've seen a BMC and was not at all impressed by the quality.

Re: Induction Kit

But the physics are good - which is what counts! Plus its a bit cheaper ;)
