General Diesel filter additive level too low!

Invoice now found.

Particulate filter change was £60.10, the additive £22.86 all plus the dreaded VAT so £97.48 in total.

In terms of driving style, our Ulysse has been round town for the last year or so, whereas previously it was all motorway stuff, so may have had an effect.

As regards pads and discs, does anyone know if it is the same parts as the C8 or 807?

Yes the Citroen C8 & Peugeot 807 are the same parts. I had to use the Citroen C8 numbers as the Ulysse wasn't listed in the motor factors book. If I could remember the make of disc you could look it up on the their website as this had the full catalogue on.

I got front pads and discs for around £100 (inc VAT and fitting kit) and fitted by the local garage for £40. You can get them off www.eurocarparts.co.uk, but I bought mine at the local auto factors.

Actually I thought the pads and discs weren't too bad at £80, but the fitting kit was £20 which is a bit steep for a few metal springs. I don't think I would bother to fit new springs next time as the old one's were perfect.

Lets agree i'm tight git then ...got pad/discs for mk1 punto for £26 and thought that was dear .....what this word 'inflation' mean that people keep telling me

Don't worry I am tight as well, but I think I probably fooled into thinking it wasn't too bad when I heard the dealer wanted about £300.00 for the job.
