General Diesel Additives? Has anyone had good results on their car?

Hi i have just been looking at reviews for Millers diesel power sport 4 diesel additive from Halfords
I see good reviews from people for a variety of different cars i was just wondering if anyone has tried this product or a similar one on a GP Sporting 1.9 ?

Yes I use millers diesel power get it on halfords trade for a tenner. Seems to make car run smoother and less smokey

Not really? Remap improved mpg on long runs averaging 50-55mpg.

Really difficult to do subjective tests on this, personally I wouldnt add any additive unless I felt I had something wrong, always used Shell standard diesel & never had need to add anything to my diesel Grande.

However, I did stick a bottle of Forte injector cleaner into my 1.6 petrol Hyundai before MoT time & it flew through the emmissions tests & as a bonus it now returns 46.4 MPG!

I'm sure I've read an article about adding Ethanol to the diesel fuel. Burns hotter and cleaner. Plus it improves the mpg and performance. Similar to the ethanol added to petrol to make the Momentum99 Tesco sells.

Google for the article. Why pay all that money, when a cup of ethanol will do the job?

Anyone know any more on this ethanol in GPs, Google not bringing me anything conclusive.
