Hello, I have a Mk2 999 ccm Fiat Uno from 1991. I am using it for 3 years now and it was a perfect car until some problems started coming out. The main problem is that the car doesn't want to pull as it should, but sometimes for short periods of time it goes perfectly. All the valves were recently changed because the compression was beyond 6, then I changed the HT leads, spark plugs, cleaned the carburettor, bought a new distribuitor cap and I still have the same problem. And now I have run out of ideas. If You can help me in any way I would appreciate it a lot:)

Are you sure you have a carburettor not an SPI ?
Often the potentiometer plate wears out.
You can see the damage on the left side, lower part of the conductor path.
If you want to check, mark the position of the plate before removing it!

Hi,
Assuming that the compression figures are now back to normal, have you checked the timing using a strobe light? I've found that the engine performance is very sensitive to incorrect timing. Other than this it could the the electronic module on the distributor or the coil.
