General Depreciation!

I think the worst depreciators are either front-engined Ferraris (such as the 456 or 550) or top-end German saloons like the Audi A8, 7 Series or S Class.
Those things can be picked up for about 50% of their new price after 2 years and the thing is the first buyer wouldn't get a discount whereas the first buyer of a Fiat should.

You can get a Stilo at 50% of it's new price after ONE year (according to Parkers figures).
Even with the discount it comes close. £10,000 was the going rate for a 1.8 Dynamic just over a year ago, now you'd get less than £6k trade in.

Oi, whats wrong with the 5-door ;)

OK, the 3-door is a sexier model, after all TC needs to do something for his image :), but there are a lot worse looking cars out there, imo.

I too bought the 5-door with missus in two, funny that.......

5 door as well here, although mother in tow at the time! but then the 5 door has the funky toys which I found out the 3 door doesnt, so it more then makes up :)

anyhow, my own cars the 5 door brava, couldnt care less about the 3 door v 5 door arguements, get what your happy with :)

Big black Stilo, you say you've paid £7.2k and are paying £179 PM for 4 years! You were had made, thats a hellish interest rate!

I'm only paying £154, but i got my loan from Nationwide building society, over 4 years too!

You should have sold your old motor privately, i was offered £500 trade in on my '96 Escort TDi, so i sold it private for £1500 instead!

just think that second buyer is rubbing his hands together allthe way to the bank,i must admit buying a brand new stilo is a bit mad when you lose half the value after a year,i bought my 52 plate 1.6 dinamic for 6.5k and it only had 11k on the clock ,iwas that chuffed with the deal i treated myself to some 17"claws ,as you can imagine itlooks the ****** and for very little money
