Delete everything

Hello, does anyone know how to delete everything of my hard drive apart from windows?

I've got a old PC that I used to use just for porn, and now my parents want to buy it off me, but I want to make sure EVERYTHING apart from windows is deleted from the hard drive (I know nothing is delted for ever, but I doubt they will check lol).

If I made a new user area (I'm using windows XP btw), then deleted the other user, would that work?

(If XP came on the comp with no need for a disc)

format and reinstall is more likely to kill everything and with less issues than deleting everything to find you forgot soemthing later

Nope, I brought the hard drive and installed windows myself, so I guess that wont work?

Go into the porn account, uninstall all the programs, defrag, and disk cleanup and then make a new account, and delete the porn account, done.

if u want to quickly delete everything create another account and then delete the other account from within the new one has it will ask whether u want to keep the info from that account, however as highlighted by a few others it wont be totally gone, if u reallu are that bothered just re install xp

although i have thought of 1 problem u've highlighted ur "activities" on this forum. i.e the internet but i doubt people would go fishing for what uve been doing so it's ok

I dont mind if its not completely gone, just as long as its not possible for them to double click on a while and there it is.

And my parents dont know about this site (At least I dont think...that being said I did give my mum the link for insurance sites...but every male teenage has a few gb of porn right?)

Thanks for the offer In the end I just made a new account after cutting and pasting everything onto a memory stick and then making a new account lol.
