Hey all
Ive found an offer for all of this for £649.99. But i need some advice:
a) Good value for money?
b) Decent SQ and volume?
c) The Speaker SPS-171A would be too large for the rear of the Punto mk2 rear speaker aperture wouldnt it? Arent they 10cm?

Speaker SPS-170A - 6 1/2" (16cm) , 2 Way, 200w, Universal 16/17cm Adaptor Ring x2

Speaker SPS-171A - (16.5cm) , 2 Way, 200w, Universal Spacer Ring x 2

Amplifier MRP-F240 - V-Power 4/3/2 ch, 75w x 4 or 180w x 2,

Amplifier MRP-M350 - V-Power, Class D, Monobloc, Max 700w x 1 @ 2 Ohms.

Subwoofer SWS-1242D - 12", 4 Ohm Single Voice Coil, 600w Peak, 200w RMS. 1.25 cu ft.

12" Sub Box RS-12V - Slot Vented Sub Enclosure for 12" type R or S Woofer

Radio CD/MP3 CDA-9847R

Now, im considerng having this all built in the boot (The amps and sub that is) using these bits of kit:

Stealth Box

Amp Box

I would then be building a false floor above this.

Does this system sound good to you all?

Hogan

*edit* - Perhaps i could buy the 10cm speakers to fit and then put the other two larger ones onto a stealth shelf. What you reckon to that? Also - would the head unit and amps be enough to power all of this if i were to include the 10cm?

You reckon its not worth it otherwise?

How handy are you with the Black and Decker?

If you can get access to the tools, false floors, amp racks etc are pretty easy to do, measure twice, cut once!

The system you have priced there wil certainly be loud and it'll sound pretty good too.

Are you on about putting those speakers in the back? What will you have in the front? I'd get them bad boys upfront if poss.
