Decent insurance for turbo

Hey all

Ive been looking for some insurance for a mk1 Uno Turbo

They are the cheapest and fastest things i can get insured on

No NCB + standard mk1 + Norwhich union = £780 TPF&T

I know i can get it lower!
any ideas on who?

Punto GT's
Corsa GSI's
Astra GTE/GSI's
etc
etc

are all out of the question
£2,000+ for all the above!

How comes your after insurance for a mark 1 Biz? Thought you had a mark 2 or you just comparing in general???

Yeah ive tried a few from the list

Mostly ranging from £780 - £1300

Frosty - Nah i would like one as a daily driver, still such a usable car the way i see it!

Its either a mk1 turbo or a 1.2 corsa.............now let me think about that for a micro second! :chin:

The beuty is that i can still poddle around town and still rip the **** out of anything that tries it! lol *

* - I dont condone street racing..............its just some people need to be shown who made the right choice!

My MK2 wont hit the road untill it propely finished!

Have you tried adrian flux, one of the few companies that dont out the phone down when you mention modifications!

I pay £800 (annualy), am 22, 4 years NCB, drive 7000 miles / year, group 14 punto HGT worth £3000 with the following mods;

Supersprint Manifold
Decat
Ragazzon midpipe
Powerfow backbox
FK konigsport coilovers (lowered car -60 - 65mm)
GSR induction kit
OZ 16" aloy wheels
Running approx 145 (from 130 standard)

All mods replaced like for like.

Deffo try them, tel then your best quote (i always tell then a few £££ under), and they always have beaten quotes or matched quotes for me.

i pay £700 a year fully comp, 3 years ncb, all mods declared on my uno turbo. and £650 a year on my clio 16v, with no ncb
