Hey guys.

Last night i was finishing up wiring my amplifier.

Ran the power through a gap in the fire wall where cable was already going.

Lifted up the plastic sides and ran the wire underneath and then under the seats. No wires in sight very neat.

I had to postpone my RCA wiring as i only had one and needed two but i wired one through anyway to save time later.

Went on to the Earth and had some trouble finding a decent spot. Under the carpet its as smooth as a babies bottom. Not a bolt in sight! By that time it was getting dark and alot of the searching was done with just touching around. Ill have another look today but any ideas where a good earth is?

Also for the speaker wire. Should i just run this back towards the front from the boot through those side plastic things? I was wondering because the left side will have to run next to the power cable and so will it cause any interference.

Cheers!

Nope there isnt a suitable earth on any of the standard bolts. You have to drill a hole in the spare wheel rub down a small section in the paint and then use a bolt. Put Vaseline or similar around that area to stop any corrosion.
Then you wont blow up your car (y)

Nope not at all. How many watts is a light bulb? 20 at a maximum. So you are now trying to dissipate say 50 times that so you need to place it more suitably.

Nope its not. I remember when removing my rear lights nothing else was attached. Certain.
And could well be rear wiper motor but not sure
I'll have a look where it leads to tomorrow when I'm wiring in my comps
Do tweeters make an audiable sound or is it too high frequency?
