Hey Rob

Just mailed you actually mate. On that picture, we can see the manifold but whats that other pipe next to it, looks rather big to be a cat replacement pipe?

Dont suppose anyone knows if the supersprint systems from fast fiat come with the replacement pipe included?

All the exhaust manifold was fitted yesterday and the exhaust manifold comes with a cat replacement pipe anyway so you dont have to buy a seperate decat. woo hoo!

As for performance gains!

OMG! I am well pleased, It gets rid of the 0-3500rpm flat spot so it pulls loads better from a standing start its increase mid range power loads and again the top end power has increased tonnes too!

I'm well pleased with it. I thought it would make difference power wise but not as big as the gain its given me.

The 2 objects in the picture fit together and actualy replace the decat as the top pipe is much longer on the super sprint manifold.

The pipes on the supersprint manifold are nearly twice as big as the standard Fiat one! Its no wonder it made such a big difference

Do you mean that the new manifold takes the place of the old manifold AND Cat..? i.e. goes from the engine right up to the exhaust covering the space where the Cat was as well ?

Is the actual length any different coz i'd hate to buy one and then find the exhaust has to be shuffelled along a bit making my rear box poke out further?

but if it takes the place (size/length wise) of the old manifold and Cat, how the hell do you put your Cat back on to pass the MOT ? Do you have to put your old manifold back on as well ?

It would have just been a few beers steve but on the 1.6 (I dont know if this is the case for all the other bravos models) you have to take the power steering pump off to fit the 4 branch.

So it was a bigger job than it should have been which meant Gaz did it at work. It was still very cheap though never the less

As you can see in the pictures above there are 2 parts to the exhaust manifold.
What isnt in the picture is another peice of flanged stainless pipe. About 6" long

The over all lenght of the 4 branch as stated above is longer than the original but there is still a gap of 6" once the decat is taken off. This gap is filled by the 6" pipe. (the decat is longer than 6" BTW)

At a squeeze my decat will go back on.
You have a different engine to me, so I can't say if it will be the same case for you or not.
