Ive made a custom Decat pipe for the Jtd as an experiment. Mines mapped to somewhere around 130hp, I would'nt say its made a huge difference to power but has definatly improved engine response.

My car, ye'l probably remember it from the resto thread. I've also installed a larger front mount intercooler which I'l post up.
A custom remap will make more use of your decat pipe. Ideally you should get your car custom remap'd after all your mods. But the Jtd in standard form can be pushed to silly figures enough to make the car not driveable and the clutch slip like mad. Don't think there,s any need for these mods.
If you want to get a super quick jtd you need a much tougher clutch and a vnt turbo.
