a friend debadged a punto and it ended up costing him quite a lot cos there were holes under the badges, can anyone tell me before i debadge my MK2 Brava will there be any holes? also what can i do about the difference in colour under the badges or is this likely to not be a problem. all help and advice is appreciated

no holes under the badge. will take you about 15mins with a kettle, hairdryer, spatula, wd40 and some paper towls. the colour difference isnt noticable unless you really look for it.
 
just give the boot area a t-cut first, and then give it a good polishin after that should help as well ;)
its as noticable as said above unless you look for it but do what i`ve said and it should come up better

what about the side badges reading 80 16v by the side repeaters?! should i remove them? whats the verdict? what have other people done?

i debadged my boot, saw the paint was ridiculously bright underneath, and bought new badges from fiat.

did the wings, and a lot of t-cutting sorted them out. they are still debadged now.

i did the sides aswell. the badges on my car are 10 years old so the colour has faded alot and they look pretty crap.
the car does sort of look naked the first time you look at it with de-badged sides.

Yeh i thought mines looked naked to start with aswell,but i mutch prefer it debadged now,and when i look at photos of my car with the badges on,im glad i done it.
And as GT has said a good Tcut should blend any diffrence in the paint,it did for mine,you can still notice it a wee bit if you realy look,but you have to be looking for it to notice it.

yeah, a t-cut should sort it on most cars. with mine being red though, it was really noticable and no amount of t-cutting would sort it :(
