Bit hunch at dawn & getting low on de-icer. Can anyone advise who makes a `mist' type spray rather than the usual squirt jet cans?

Old trick, but if you're desperate, simply pee into a container & pour this on your screen.
Otherwise, the tepid water is good, usually with an additive like screenwash - to lower the freezing point. It's so funny to see poeple pour cold water over their cars to defrost them, only to have the water freeze instantly - or form frozen puddles which people then slip on.

then again some people dont bother ;)

Find a girl who uses heat-protective spray for her hair, ask her for an empty bottle - fill this up with warm-hot water/any other liquid de-icer stuff, and spray on :D Most spray bottles produce a mist, so you can have the water a bit hotter than just tepid, and it'll come out as a warm mist :)

I was thinking of some de-icer mist spray from a can – just can’t recall the brand now. I like to give the screen a misting over the night before – so water won’t help there. Otherwise may have to try a hair or plant spray bottle with a screen wash solution.
