Dashboard Display Problem

Hey folks,

I have noticed on my dash display that sometimes when I start the car the digital milage display and also the normal non-digital speedomoter dont show / start even when i get moving.

When I tap the plastic ( behind the steering wheel in front of the dash display ) then it will "kick in " and start working.

Im guessing it might be just a loose lead behinf it or something ? As the RPM and the other displays work.

Just thought I would see if anyone can offer any ideas what it might be ?

Sounds like a loose connector - get the dash out and check the connectors (you have a guide in the repair section) and replace the fuses on your right side of the steering wheel
