General Dash Lights

The right hand side of my heating and ventilation controls (ie the temperature selector dial) no longer illuminates, so I suspect I have a dead lamp under the panel.

Is this something I can replace myself, and if so where is the access?

Yep easy enough,just try not to scratch plastic trim.

I'd like to hear your experience of this. The same light has failed on my Multi.

Well I have to take it on for a mini-warranty service sometime in the next month, so I might just get them to do it while it is in.

I did have a look at the fascia though and it would worry me if I broke any of the clips.

Finally got round to getting the facia off and found the lights to be small capless 12V 1.2w things labelled 08 12/1.2 n 1A

What go the numbers mean (other than the 12/1.2)?

Or one of these maplin ones?

Or are they both the same?
