The dealer's invoice from my March 2001 Marea 150ELX saloon states the original owner paid £13,750 OTR - about FIAT's standard list price at the time, but the car has cost options of metallic paint, remote locking fitted and towbar (about £600 worth then) 'thrown in'
I think he was slightly done - I would'nt have paid more than £12.5K.
On average, Mareas were priced a fraction below rival Vectra/Mondeo models, as per usual FIAT UK policy - but of course this type of big-maker fleet/rep car is always heavily discounted.
