Damn gearknob thingy

This must be the most lamest question of all times

I cant remove the gearknob! I know its glued, but no matter how hard i pull, it doesn't come off..

How many force can the gearbox handle? Can I pull full power?

Sorry to have to ask you questions like this

I had the same problem. I ended up cutting the vinyl/plastic top of and then drilling through the white gearknob. It was the only way it would come off. (Made a right mess in the car tho )

What about if you grease up the pole?! Will it make the pulling smoother?!

you need to cut it off with a small hacksaw. then cut about 2" off the stem to lower it.

Well your all lame, mine came off without cutting - get someone to hold the stalk and just give it hell.

Oh yeah, btw

If you unclip the plastic trim at the bototm of the gaitor then pull it up over the gear knob, there is a small clip that holds the knob on I think or holds something on anyway - get rid of this and it shold be easy.

get a junior hacksaw on it but make sure the plasic saw dust doesn't go into the mechanism use a rag to block it. another trick i did was to cut the bottom of the gear nob and turn it upside down do that i could reatach the gater with the little clip. worked for me!

Depends on what model of Bravo you have too. Mines a MkII and has a lift up reverse mechanism. The gator does not attach to the knob but the plastic that is used for the lift up reverse.
