Last week i've been stuck in traffic jam a few times, as i drive my uno '87 daily to my work i was doubting an automatic gearbox.
My uno has the fire engine and gives super nice feul consumption,
i know the uno 1.1/(1.5) (non fire) was dilivered with a cvt gearbox.
So i was thinking about fitting a cvt gearbox from a punto selecta.
I know those gearboxes arent bulletproof.
I have a pedalset and an interior selector from an uno 1.1(non fire)
Does the selecta have a clutch-flywheel or how is that done, is it the same starter as other 1.2fire? (or does cvt use torque converter between engine and gearbox)
Does the cvt box needs electric signals or so, does it use ecu signals?
Is there an old cable speedometer, or is it an electric signal?
Does it use the same driveshafts as other fire-gearboxes or do i need to weld uno driveshafts?
