Uno cutting out

hi guys, my uno pacer1,4 cuts out when it gets to running temperature! someone has suggested that it might be the crank sensor, where is this sensor located or what else could be the problem? any help will be appreciated!

Hi there, I had the same problem with my 1993 Uno Mambo. Mine was fixed by replacing the ignition control unit which is the silver heatsink type thing on the rear side of the distributor. It is held on with two screws I think and has 2 wires coming from it which go to the coil. The part cost me £12 on ebay incl. P+P.

P.S this was on the 1.0 FIRE engine so will be different on other engines (and maybe a different problem haha)
