that's 33942304 mm^3 which is about 1.2 cubic feet or 34 liters when made out of 3/4"MDF

How do you work out the volume that your particular sub needs to perform well...also what happens if you get it wrong?

the required volume will be stated with the literature that comes with your sub, there will be a different volume depending on the type of box. If you get it wrong the sub will bo able to move too far or not far enough which will sound bad and can cause damage.

it's not that good, not going to be belnded into the side or anything, but will do me.

No Daz, it's a 3D solid modelling package. ProEngineer 2001. Not the easiest to get into though, although the new version, wildfire is supposed to be more user friendly. Most autocad people prefer to go to SolidWorks. Inventor is also up and coming.
