Technical cursed punto now with scraping sound from wheel

ok this is the story of my sisters cursed mk1 55sx punto lol her rear suspension arms needed replacing she had been driving round for ages with them both broke [!] i took her car in and got them fixed for her as i left garage i noticed battery light stayed on sooo alternator had to be repaired picked it up second time thought wooohooo fianlly all sorted. i drove 10 miles got to corner of top of her road and after going round it there is now a dam scraping noise comming from one of teh back wheels. its not constant its liek something is cacthing as it turns like a shh shh shh noise lol getting faster when wheel turns faster. also it gets louder when you unload the wheel as car leans going round corner. i am prety sure its from passenger side rear. any ideas??? should be going back again with it but just wanted to make sure it wasnt something simple i could do ???

Sounds like they've incorrectly fitted something. Send it straight back.

yeah i am going back tomorow, its mechanic i allways use he is ok about it just getting fed up going to his as 20 mile round trip so wanted to look myslef first lol. it only started after 30 miles of driving its strange.

all solved turned out a small stone had got in the rear brake drum yipeee.
