Currie Motors Watford

Anyone know why Fiat dealer Currie Motors in Watford is shutting down at the end of this month? I know everytime I used them they were terrible!

Also will we get another Fiat dealer in Watford?

All the signage came down today, so the site is now vacant.

I also received a letter in the post from Curry Motors Barnet, saying their Watford staff have mostly transfered over there. So now you know.

Ah bummer. They might not have been brilliant, but at least they were only 5 mins walk from me and handy for getting parts! Now I'll have much further to go to Perrys of Amersham or Curries (?) of Barnet

And no doubt they've sold off the premises for yet more housing developments like they've done with every other tiny piece of land in Watford :bang:

I live on the Rickmansworth Road, near the Shell and Kia Garages. Literally 5 mins walk from where Curries used to be.

And of course, the garage in Hemel I used to drive past it every day to get to college (West Herts Dacorum campus). Now I go to Bucks University so I drive in totally the opposite direction :bang:

Im sure there is a fiat/alfa/lancia dealer in st albans somewhere....but as far as im aware the closest to me is hemel

Yup, they have most definately closed up shop in Watford. As to whether anyone will move in now I don't know. All the car places have been moving into Croxley Business Park where I work.

they only contacted me after my dad prompting them to do so - with a few stern words may i add.
ridiculous for me now.
to gain my free repairs i have to go to barnet wimbledon.
now that basicly means if i have to leave my car there, someone will have to drive up and back with me: and then do the same again to collect.
its ridiculous!
