Cruise control is a major fuel saver, especially for anyone that does a bit of motorway mileage.

Hi, I got the cruise control supplied & fitted for £399, from a specialist in South Shields, I've forgotten the name of the company but there are a few in the north east, so I guess many all over the country. It is made by "spall"and it has on/off function light on the stem, move up to set desired speed, move down for resume last speed, two buttons for pre-set speeds which are changable to suit the driver. The stalk has been fitted on the steering column just below the left hand stalk.

No, I don't work for spall, at £399 it's well worth it, many people pay much more than that for a sound system. I would not want a car without cruise, besides motorway use it's great for regulating speed in 30mph zones.

I've just seen a post where someone had their multipla resprayed for £1500 just because they didn't like the colour, to me that's fair enough if that's what they want, I had cruise control fitted for £399, that's what I wanted and it's great...............??

i'd love to get cruise control, i went on a trip yesterday in my brothers Alfa and it has it, have to find someone who will do it in Ireland though

Good on you Guizzo. Thats the attitude! Its all very easy to pass judgement on what's good/what isn't. When at the end of the day, we do as we please for the reasons we want!
