Must say, the cross I think looks ace in black!
The fiat config defaults to regular finance (premier hp). You press the button for low cost finance.
Must say, the cross I think looks ace in black!
GAR: IS THIS WHAT YOU MEAN BY NEGATIVE INTEREST? Tell about the figures u have found GAR
I managed to get one quote using the configurator that ended up with a minus figure for the interest  Still not sure how I managed that, but I reckon it's probably down to the final £285 fee.
They're saved on my work computer so I'll have to play around with it again to see if I can remember what permutation I used. My figures were for a 4x4 rather than a Cross, so the sum borrowed is lower, which may explain the difference. I agree that once you start playing around with that finance planner, it becomes addictive!
Oops?
Just checked out the Nu Blu that Bundes mentioned was available on the 500 cult, why isn't this available for Trekking/4x4/Cross? It's a cracking colour, suit the Panda down to the ground.
Have u not shifted your 4x4 yet?
hi im really interested in your comments, im currently looking at and thinking of getting a panda trek but i love the cross [just cant afford it] any chance you could spare some time and explain in really simple terms what the privilege scheme is and can you also get that for the pand trekk
also did your price for the cross include any extras ie windscreen heater or colours ect
thank you so much for your reply. i have played with the configurator on fiat.co.uk, but not getting much joy as it is basing the interest quite high [8%] so cant work out a figure at all, this is all so very new to me.
yes ive got about £1000 of extras id like
do you have the dash sat nav?
I have read your other posts on other threads, its hard keeping track. I read you have broken down and need a new car. Here starts the problems for yourself. When you desire options that not every panda has, you have to go for a factory order, this takes 12weeks approx. The key to buying a new fiat is you know the deal fiat FGA is offering before you go to the dealer. The dealer wants you to buy their finance, not fiats. The dealerships I know try to push you to set the annual milage to 5k!!! Really, fiat let you vary it, up to 35k in some cases.
On the fiat configurator, try setting the months to 48, deposit to 0 and miles to 12k.
Then update ur quote and a new finance product should appear. LOW COST, select it. Now play with the deposit. The trekking is already at 1% so if you vary the variables to far then it doesn't update.
Try this without adding ur options, learn how to use it, then go back and pimp up ur trekking. With options added, try a deposit of 1850, update and see ur monthly. Add this monthly to the 1850, update and this will be close to the PPS Deal. Remember, its the total amount payable less the 1400&1850=3250.
Hope this helps u tonight. Away and play with fiat
you are brilliant THANK YOU it now brings up a finance deal that i can manage, i certainly agree with you that going in knowing what you are talking about makes a difference, otherwise they wipe the floor with my credit lol
my car [fingers crossed] is still running, and im hoping it hold out for the 12wk period or so, as i do want to configure the car i want.
Let's talk about what options you want and also the ones that I'm telling you need. The space saver is very important, not just for the wheel but for the correct jack that fits the raised trekking/4x4/cross.
Try to list them in order of importance
Our Cross is due in December too, we are thinking of leaving it in the dealership until the new year so that we can register it as a 2015 car if it only means waiting a couple of weeks.
When I configure a trekking, with what I consider as normal options (no parking sensors or city brake assistance etc) the total OTR price was 14570, then include the 285fee, 148555. With the PPS 3250 discount that's 11605. Your deposit is 174, monthly 173.97 (x47) over 48 months with 12k miles per year. The total u pay is 11607.59!!! Now thats a deal. £ 2.59 interest total over 4 years.
But u could get a cross with the same kit for 14K but you'll need a +3k deposit to beat the interest %.
Remember that if you want to own the car after the PCP term then you will need the cash to buy it. £ 3257 in the above example.
