cant find any now the other day when i selected view lowest first about the top 5 were fittings kits. no idea what was in them though maybe just some bolts and stick on shims
finally got around to fitting the new rear discs and pads today, the discs havent got a wear dimple like the fronts
.
i took loads of photos will do a guide when i have time.
braking is a lot better now, it was horrible with new fronts and worn rears.
Hi,
I'm having a look at my front brakes and discs on my 8v 1.9JTD and they are in a terrible state. Following the guides on here make the process of changing them seem straightforward enough but I'm struggling to work out what size of torq bit to use to loosen the bolts.
The plastic covers come off easily enough and there's certainly plenty of room to work inside the wheel arch but when I try with a T20 bit recommended earlier it just spins round and doesn't catch.
Even a T40 doesn't seem big enough.
Is it definitely a T20 I should be using or am I at the wrong part?
