I actually think that Creamfields had the better line up this year compared to Global.
The fact that Fatboy Slim, High Contrast, Noisia, Laidback Luke, Herve, Dave Spoon & others are there that were absent at Global really swing it for me.
But Global was ace anyway, next big one for me is Big Beach Boutique 4 in Brighton!!!

Saw Fatboy Slim at Global in 2006. Still to this day, the best performance I have ever seen (Joint with Daft Punk that same Global.) Kanye came close this year. I keep rushing atm when i hear any Kanye on the radio.

Eddie Halliwell is the biggest decider for me. Global were abit silly with the line up. Spesh the Main stage on the Saturday. Was awful.

Herve was at Global. And was unreal!

I saw Fatboy & Daft Punk at Global in '06 aswell, Fatboy was good especially as the rain came down and the red arrows were going overhead even if he was having technical difficulties!!! Audio Bullys impressed me before Fatboy too!
Daft Punk blew me away though, the best set Ive ever seen!
Kanye was good, wasn't too sure about how he would go down at a dance festival but it worked!

I know what you mean about the main stage at Global this year, only saw Scratch Perverts, Kanye West & Hadouken! on there this year, Radio 1 support was greatly missed!!!

Was a bit disappointed with the lack of Liquid DnB at Global, the closest being Commix on the mixmag stage who surprised me! And the breaks line up was nothing special, no Adam Freeland :)worship:) (n) he's not at Creamfields either.
More into my house/electro as a result, Eric Prydz, Roger Sanchez, Will Bailey, Mickey Slim, Fedde Le Grand, Axwell, Nic Fanciulli all rocked my socks this year!!!

I'm guessing you enjoyed micky slim then?

Yeah Radio1 was noticably missed. ALl in all i can't wait for Creamfields. Surely someone else is going?

i might be going to this but not 100% sure yet as i didnt go global this year

but yeah daft punk and fatboy slim were ace in 2006, nice sunny weekend then end of fatboys set it began to rain cooled everyone down nicely then waking up to lovely sun again :)

but Daftpunks set was deffently best ive ever seen in my life

Im not really the biggest Mickey Slim fan tbh, caught the 1st half hour of his set an then buggered off to the main stage for Hadouken! who were ace and came back for the last 20mins or so and he didnt really impress me too much, I thought Will Bailey was a lot better!!!
Saw Mickey Slim at the Global Warming party a few weeks before Global an didnt really impress me then either.
