General Creaking from rear

Hi I'm wondering if this is a common problem but I have an 03 plate active 8v and its started creaking/squeeking from what sounds like the rear. Any ideas?

Mine did this for a while but it's gone now was the exhaust bracket on mine that was creaking

This seems to be a common fault, a kind of groaning from the rear when you load and unload the car?

I've read suggestions that its the rear suspension arm bushes. You could try squirting some wd40 on those to see if it helps identify the fault.

Check handbrake cables as well

As they rub it groans
A simple clean and grease will eliminate that

Did that with the h/brake cable it only lasted a short time now its doing it again thinking of putting something around the cable for a more lasting fix ie a spacer or some kind of tape. Thanks for your help anyway.
