Creaking from front wheels

Have a problem with my fiat bravo 1.6sx if anyone can help!

There is a sharp creaking sound coming from the two front wheels when turning at low speed but not at high speed. In a straight line and over speed bumps there is no sound.

Wheels nuts are tight and secure and theres nothing visabily obvious on the suspension arm or steering arm.

First thought is the shock absorbers but theres no creaking over speed bumps!

Any ideas?

Creak AS you turn the steering wheel or does it creak while going round a corner but while holding the wheel steady?

creaking occurs for both situations

Odd! Jack up the car and give the front wheels a good yank.

Is it a metal on metal creak? My only guess would be the lower arm bushes.
