General Crankcase plug

Can someone please advise me of the size & thread type on the crankcase plug just ahead of the timing cover? (650cc air cooled) Thanks Dave

Just been sorting through one of my piles of bits and came across one of the plugs. I think that this is the only one I ever managed to remove intact. I would say that the nominal thread diameter is 12mm but it is tapered and the pitch looks to be 1.5mm
