That can happen with all sorts of vehicles.
It’s a 2023 chassis cab but maybe I should have added it’s a 2024 first registered motorhome I’ve never seen this on any vehicle I’ve owned two years old certainly not only one year old but if you think it’s a standard thing then no problem I stand corrected 👍🏻

No its not standard at all especially on not "old" vehicle , though we don't know the miles.

Why not contact the dealer that sold it to you asking if a warranty claim can be made?

3800 miles only !! I do intend to get in touch with Fiat but just wondered if anyone else had a similar problem so I had more ammunition when contacting Fiat but thanks for your input anyway

@IOM
I have only seen this twice. One is an Iveco (Photo) which is my brother-in-law's & cracks started at around 500,000km.
The other was a Nissan Patrol 4x4 that had 280,000km.
Both started from the bottom.
I fixed both with 2mm thick Acrylic, Super glue, heat gun & plenty of patience.

My 2019 L2H2 has done the same - interestingly, after the recent hot weather.
You can't buy the cover separately either :rolleyes: (I could on my Octavia VRS when I scratched it)
